Guest angus_1972 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone, I am new to Android but have done some reading before attempting stuff on here. However I seem to have a problem downloading apps from the android market. I have an Orange San Francisco Once i tap on an app in the market, it says your app will be downloaded....but when i check in My apps it seems to be hanging in 'Starting Download' and it never does download. Now I have read on some forums about Gmail being linked to app downloads, so I have created a GMail account in hope that that would resolve this. I have removed most of the orange stuff using Androot and Titanium backup, but think I may have deleted something that is needed to run the apps thingy. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do next as the phone is no fun without apps. Currently running on 2.1 if thats any use. Thanks in advance Angus Edited August 12, 2011 by angus_1972
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 1) You could do a factory reset Setup the gmail account again Restore your apps with titanium OR 2) install a new rom OR 3) try to install gapps in clockworkmod
