Orange Monte Carlo / ZTE Skate

Hi All,

Just upgraded to the Monte after selling my San Fran

Now, I seem to have the same issue as I did with the San Fran - Cases - I used an E71 for the san fran (thanks to this forum) and it fitted well.

However, I cannot find anything for the Monte Carlo - Does anyone have any advice?

I did think the HTC Desire HD however the camera would be covered

until one is released for the omc ive been using my old blade sack type case a bit tight but it its better than nothing

I bought this one from Amazon but sadly it doesn't really fit.

TheTechTree - Black PU Leather Carbon Slip In Pull Up Tab Pocket Pouch Case Cover For ZTE Skate / Orange Monte Carlo

Its a BB style slip on case but although you can force the Skate in its too tight for proper use.

Still I'd love to know if anyone finds a good one.

Please allow us to play with it for a while, make a short comparison review, then send it to factory for making screen protectors resin jelly cases

You may like to suggest how the jelly case should be like: special colours, matte, glossy, rubbery, strap holes, with Android logo, etc.

Will keep you guys updated.

i personally like a smooth case so it slips in and out the pocket better not the rubber type not sure what its made from but i have one on my wildlife.

Any chance of a surface similar to the one on the back of the Palm Pixi Plus?

I don't know many will agree, but I think its superb and I would definitely buy one and recommend it to others as well.

Something like the regular Jel case but with a silicon outer for extra grip.

Guys, thanks for your input. Great if you could include a link or attach photo of what you are referring to.

I will let our people know and seek the possibility of making a really decent case for OMC.

Also John.smith are you i touch with people that can make cradles for these phones, I think as most of these phones require a charge day to day there is a market out there for car, home and even waterproof motorbike/push bike cradles as a lot of people are using these as their satnav.

Thanks for the link, I think it is possible to make something like this which goes to opposite way of being a fingerprint magnet. ;)

But making cradles would be a different story, the tooling cost would be too high for us while our sales channel is nothing more than our own website and a few small vendors in UK & Europe.

Having said that, it *might* be possible to find an existing one that also fits OMC. I will pass the machine to our merchandiser and let her to the job B)

Thanks john.smith for the feed back, yeah tooling cost would be an issue companys like ZTE should start thinking and tie in with a craddle maker to make their products more appealing the iphone success is just as much to do with the things you can plug one in to. Now tie in a case , cradle and phone manufacturer and you have got something there a phone thats in a case which fits in a cradle.:rolleyes:
