I hope he does manage to get it to stream video to control it from another room, that would be quite awesome.

Very cool! Now if he could hook up the GPS, google maps/directions, the camera and a collision detector he'd really be onto something

Ha ha, glad you guys like it. Seems that it's been featured on a few other forums as well, so the guy's website has gone 509 - a bit of a shame, because it shows you how he built it. From what I remember, it started life as an RC tank with BB firing turret. He had to remove the turret to fit the microcontroller board (IOIO USB for Android), some other electronics and, of course, the San Fran.

So you can see it all in action, I've posted the youtube link of the guy testing the tank. In my original post.
