picture message problem

Hello, first off i'm using blue ginger v5, before that i was on jj9, and on o2 payandgo. I seem to be having a problem sending or receiving picture messages on this rom, i can send and receive texts without a problem just not picture messages. i never had this problem on jj9,

Does anyone else on o2 using blue ginger v5 have this problem?any help greatly appreciated. :unsure:

EDIT: it seems i need to turn my data on for it to work, on jj9 rom im sure it would turn data on itself to send it.
