Guest AET Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) hi all, I have been using this forum for quite some time now and id like to thank all the rom developers and the community as a whole in helping me root and debrand my orange san francisco. My SF (gen1 and oled version) has now developed a fault with the screen, where the screen flickers blue (top 80% of screen). At first i noticed it briefly last week one morning and now it happens 2 to 3 times a day. Its not rom related as I have tried a few roms and still no improvements. So it will have to go back to orange. Now, I have read throughout a few threads about reverting back to stock and I am aware that there are 2 stock roms for oled (b05 and b08). The problem I have is that I dont know which stock rom was installed when I got the phone. Is there any way of finding out? I am currently using the 'swedish spring rls5' rom. Should I use the stock rom from here (http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade/) or somewhere else?? I have latest clockwork installed i think(3.something). What steps do I need to take to get it back to stock after I download the rom. Is it just a matter of using clockwork to install the stock orange rom. What happens to clockwork, I need that to be removed and go back to the stock recovery. Thankyou in advance Edited August 15, 2011 by AET
Guest HMZX Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 You can use any rom, it doesn't matter. Use the rom from there that matches your purchase date.

And thankfully no more clockwork. One thing to note is that the phone remained unlocked. I have called orange and they are sending a courier to replace the phone. Just for information to others. I originally bought this phone from additions direct, I contacted them and they refused to replace the phone but would only repair it. I then contacted orange and they offered to replace it straight away after i told them the problem. So anyone with a similar problem go direct to orange uk. Thankyou for your help HMZX! much appreciated.
