HELP PLEASE! :(

Hello, first post here at modaco and already a big problem :(

I tried to install a custom rom for my zte blade (GEN1) using the all-in-one method from this post i did everything as the topic says but when i started the phone pressing menu+volume up nothing appeared on screen. As i had read that it could display a blank screen i decided to wait. However nothing happened at all, i´va probably waited for like 15 mins. then i decided to reboot the phone, by removing the batery and restarting. The big android logo showed up, but again, nothing happened. Now, when i press the menu+volume up keys some green text shows up, and it ends with an error when loading splash.img.

i dont know what to do, i can't really understand the methods in the un-brick phone topic. I cant make the pc recognize the sd card. If someone could give me a little help it would be awesome.

First you need to upgrade to gen2 using this after that it should reboot into a recovery menu where you can flash the simple stir fry rom

from what you are saying,it sounds like you using TPT method.The error you are getting sounds like the TPT is corrupt.Redownload it,place image folder on root of sdcard,and try again.

Also,make sure the md5 is correct!

On my blade for TPT,only power & volume + was needed,however,some blades need menu pressed too.

Hi, first of all, i managed to recover the phone :D

So, the thing was that i could not access the SD card. So that made me think the phone was dead. I did check the MD5 before i tried the installation of the Stir Fry rom, i have no idea of what could have been wrong.

Anyway, i recovered the phone using the last resort method from the un-brick your phone thread, by doing that i managed to gain access to the sd card and from there things went like a breeze :)

It's funny how i could not do a simple all-in-one install but managed to do the highly last resort method without having a clue of what i was doing xD I decided to go with 2.2 JJ rom just in case things would go wrong again and its now running great on the phone.
