Guest deepmenace Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 Hi I've just bought an Orange San Francisco and I want to synchronise with Outlook. Can anyone recommend a solution. Thank you! Steve good purchase! here, look at this: google calendar sync it'll sync your San Fran google calendar to your desktop pc outlook.
Guest AsusFreak Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 I use MyPhoneExplorer. http://www.fjsoft.at/en/ It's freeware and it doesn't need to sync the google calendar and contacts - it synchronizes directly with Outlook. Works like a charm for me.
Guest rockstarszzzz Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 The default email app syncs my emails and my calender from outlook
Guest AsusFreak Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) The default email app syncs my emails and my calender from outlook Newbie question: I thought the standard email app only synchronizes against Exchange but not against a single installation of Outlook? Edit: Oh - sorry, you will do it via Google Mail, right? Then it's possible - sure. I expect him not to use Google calendar, mail and contacts but he did not say this. So I beg your pardon. Guest Clitheroe1 Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 There maybe easier solutions, but I forward a copy of all my Outlook emails to my gmail account which is synched with my phone.
Guest marcosinus Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 Hi, I use Android Sync (Android Sync) or My Phone Explorer. Both work well.
Guest sambartle Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 The best I have found is the official Google Calandar Sync plugin, which deepmenace linked above. The other way you can do it assuming that your Outlook is collecting mails by POP or IMAP is to set up the same account on your phone, and configure both the phone and Outlook to leave the messages on the server after downloading them, which would cause them to appear on both devices, youd just need to remember to delete them before the server allowance gets too full :)
Guest ThrashMan Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 Works perfectly......the easiest way without a doubt! good purchase! here, look at this: google calendar sync it'll sync your San Fran google calendar to your desktop pc outlook.
