Guest Hayander Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 Hi, Still could not find a ROM that does work on T-Mobile Huawei Pulse, all have many errors. Anyone know of a way in which I can return the phone as it came from factory? Why so I can install the official 2.1 version and have no more problems. Or someone you know a ROM that actually works in versions 2.2 and 2.3 of android? Hayander Ungarelli Landi @@hayander

All of the instructions to return to the factory rom are in that thread. And, yes, the easiest thing to do is to just use a Huawei stock 2.1 rom and not try run any modified roms. The 2.3 rom for Pulse is still in development and does have problems still. The 2.2 rom (Cyanogenmod 6.1 based) is "mostly" functional. It is very stable. As far as I know, the only thing that does not work is the front facing camera. There are a few very minor bugs (such as the GPS icon not disappearing), but these do not affect the functionality or stability of the rom. But if you intend to install the CM6.1 rom, please read all the instructions very carefully and follow them EXACTLY as they are written. If you do not, you will have problems and you will think that the problem is in the rom. The problem is not in the rom; the problem is in how you installed it. Here is a link to the CM6.1 rom I modified. It has been installed by thousands of people, so I believe it is a stable working rom. I use it, and it works very well for me too. Again, if you do not read all of the instructions carefully and do not follow them exactly, you will have problems. Otherwise, just flash the stock Huawei rom and be happy with that.
Guest Hayander Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 I follow all the street rom and try again, thank you immensely
Guest Daz555 Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Stock 1.5 and stock 2.1 are terrible on the Pulse and not a patch on many of the custom ROMs, which are far better in every measurable respect. See my sig for my personal preference.

See my sig for my personal preference. Hi I am running official 2.1 on my Pulse at the moment. My ph is locked to T-mobile UK. so i put i-sim so that it can work with other network sims. I have seen that when i make connection to 3g. the connection gets lost and the sim card does not get registered to the network. But if i register to 2G netwrok, it works fine with all other networks. Any advice, how to fix it. I tried with official 1.6 version. ..in that 3g works with all other networks sim. Really strange but does anyone know the solution for it. cheers Ashok
Guest huawei8220 Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 But if i register to 2G netwrok, it works fine with all other networks. Maybe you should check your APN settings ?!
