Music keeps cutting out on Ginger Stir Fry

Hello.

Had my Blade for 8 months. I had a 2.2 ROM on it (Swedish Snow, I think, can't really remember) until last week when I tried out Ginger Stir Fry. I've been having a problem where if I play music, after maybe a couple of minutes the song will stop and then start again after maybe half a second. This applies if I play music through ANY app - I mainly use Spotify so initially I thought it was that, but then this morning I had a go with PowerAmp and it did the same thing. It happens for all music I play, not just specific songs. The ROM I used previously did not have this issue.

Does anyone have any ideas about what's causing it?

Thanks!

Oh, and it's not like I'm multi-tasking or anything with the phone either, this is while I'm walking along the road.

Sounds like the phone is going to sleep and the processor drops to speed that it cant provide enough power to play the song.

Is there over/underclocking in Ginger Stirfry? It may be worth asking the direct question in that ROM thread.

I had the same problem with GS19. Go to the market download No-frills CPU control and either change the min clock speed to 320mhz or change the governor from 'ondemand' to 'performance', both methods worked for me.. but the battery does take a bit of a hit.

I tried changing it to 245Mhz but it didn't work. How much of a battery hit are we talking about?
