Telenor Hungary 2.2.2 upgrade gps fix?

I installed the Telenor Hungary 2.2.2 Upgrade rom on my phone.

its the best rom in terms of batterylife and speed i tried this far.

the only problem i have with it is that the gps wont get a fix.

i tried using gps faster fix but no results.

is it possible to install cm7 or another roms gps drivers to make it work better?

The gps drivers in that (stock) rom are identical to the ones in Swedish Spring.

Cannot imagine why they wouldn't work ....

Does gps work under swedish spring for you ?

hmm it used too, but the gps in the 2.3.4 roms gets a lock much faster

They have AGPS enabled. (For me it gets a fixed faster but its almost always wrong until the same amount of time as normal has passed).
