video chat issue

hi, I just got yahoo messenger hoping to use the video and call feature. but it doesn't work. everytime I tried calling,my phone tells me its dialing but nothing happened on the other end and vice versa when the other person calls me my phone doesnt ring, doesn't tell me there's an incoming call. no nothing at all.

I want to know if its the phone or the app!! please help!! this is very important to me!!

I'm using bb0725, fr19 new kernal, correct ril.

you must have yahoo messenger plug in app. Search the market for it.
