When i try to send one, it stucks on "sending" even rebooting the SMS is still sending... Of course i'm on bb71... I had the Same issue on iris 101-103 and on wb 4... The fact that 3 or 4 different roms from different dev's all had the same consistent issues sounds like either bband compatibility or for some reason carrier apn's are not being recognised by the software properly??? Is the phone actually coming up from boot and having service?? Worst case - redownload the rom and try new flash... Trip might be able to supply the md5 sum??? Also that flashtool installs freexperiarecovery NOT COMPATIBLE with my roms.
