of course (zkernel) will kill xrec and wifi because kernel is for stock 2.3.3 android and miui is 2.3.5 -_- to make it work we need to make new ramdisk and use other wifi module

Please find attached ZKernel for TripNMiUI GB 103.

This is an exact replica of what Hirix10 has posted above, the only difference being this is the original ZKernel instead of Tkymgr's Kernel.

The reason I wanted ZKernel is because it has the "in call volume hack", which makes a big difference to the call quality (makes the in call volume louder).

I am running this (ZKernel) on TripNMiUI 103 and everything seems to be working fine, including WiFi, Camera, etc.

Please, all credits should go to Z, Tkymgr (Goro), and Hirox10. I take no credits for this.

How to install:

1) Place the attached zip file on your SD card

2) Reboot into XRecovery

3) Wipe Cache

4) Wipe Dalvik Cache

5) Install Custom Zip and choose the attached zip file from your SD card

6) Reboot (first boot up would take a while)

im on TripNDroid Mobile Engineering, thanks trip for cool rom

so i played a little bit

1)-tkymgr's kernel for TripNMiUI-103.235.U.B71 works, but checked with cpu spy and cpu master, it was almost on highest cpu frequence @ 1113 when phone used, no switch between other frequences (maybe battery drain)

2)-ZKernel for TripNMiUI GB 103 works too, here is the only problem, cpu spy and android system info cant show used frequences, only in cpu master you see the the scaling of frequences

about deep sleep i think it works in both, but in second you cant check

"Everything is working" - does that include app2sd and usb tethering/wifi hotspot? What about data disconnect issue?

By "everything" I meant what is already working in TripNMiUI GB 103 should work :)

Regarding apps2sd and data disconnect issue, that's something we all have to test it ourselves. Fingers crossed :)

Well Tkymgr's kernel is great but i had alot of WLOD today cause of the kernel (WIFI works - xrecovery still there - oc working ) but it's not recomended yet ..... i had to reflash 103 without kernels

I think the reason of WLOD is OC or UV.

So this is no OC and no UV version. FreeKernel-mod404N-miuiGB103.zip

Thread: [KERNEL][X10] DooMKernel - "Power to The People" [Rel:v02][Dt:21/Aug][FW3.0.1.G.0.75]

Flash xrecovery 0.3 GBready from zdzihu and then the kernel for xrecovery from the thread linked above. It's working fine and has uc to 128Mhz (if you're phone isn't waking up after the screen goes off, use the 192Mhz frequency instead), extreme undervolt (better battery!!) and can be overclocked up to 1228Mhz!. check the thread for more information

note: for me the xrecovery zip hasn't installed, trips one is doing s.th. there that it isn't installing. I have extracted and placed the files manually to their place (don't forget the permissions, they have to be all rwx-r-rx)

hahaha. If you install xrecovery it "breaks" the recovery from trip, and with this I have always problems, so I flash always directly after rom xrecovery again^^. But you don't need trips recovery anymore, cause then you have xrecovery from z. So what's the problem?? I can't see one^^

I mean cant get into recovery after flashed the GBready xrecovery. Even install through flashtool dont works.

if you would have read and done exactly what I said, you would know that installing through integrated recovery from trip or flashtool normaly doesn't work. Flashtool can't mount system rw and recovery also not as i remember. solution: download flashable zip and extract it with rootexplorer and put them all by hand to their place with rwxr-xr-x permissions. Ok? then it is working.

1. download the xrecovery 03 gb ready to your sdcard(or pc and then copy/move to sdcard)

2. extract the whole zip with rootexplorer

3. copy all the files from the extracted zip to that place in system they have to be.

3.1 best way I think: copy the two files from subfolder bin from the extracted zip to the system folder

3.2 copy the two files from subfolder xbin also to system folder

3.3 move the four files to the system partition of your device

3.4 set for all for files the permissions rwxr-xr-x

3.5 move charger and chargemon to system/bin

3.6 move sh and xrecovery.tar to system/xbin

3.7reboot phone and spam back button at se logo and check if you can get into xrecovery 0.3 gb

3.8 if yes, then install doomkernel for xrec and all should be fine.

Happy powering device! (cpu clocks from 128Mhz to 1,2Ghz; voltage is standard se voltage, voltage can be setted down, means undervolting kernel with incredicontrol from market.)
