[APP][2.1+] Fine Volume Control V2

Hey guys,

We've rewritten Fine volume control, and it now works much better. It basically allows your volume to be set anywhere from 0-100% (1% being almost inaudible). It's great if the regular 1-volume is too loud on your device, or you want more precise control over volume.

Major rewrite - no longer uses the earpiece speaker

  • With the new app, you get 100 different volume levels from silent to full volume.
  • Control volume with an onscreen dial. Ideal for tablets
  • Works on Media/Alarm/Ringer & Notification/System (in-call excluded)
  • Has an automatic overlay that appears when changing volume (ROM dependent) but also has a regular volume control app
  • Fully customisable
  • For those people using ROMs that don't support the automatic popup, there is a secondary launcher icon that shows the media volume dial for a few seconds.Fine volume control V2 (Trial)

    Fine volume control unlocker

The original app is still available on the market, but now deprecated. If you buy the unlocker app, you can use either version.
    Hey guys,

I've just released a new app that enhances the standard media volume dialog by adding 2 functions:
    • A fancy volume dial (complete with glow) to use instead of repeatedly pressing the volume buttons
    • A finer volume setting that effectively lets you go below 1 bar of volume by redirecting sound to the earpiece speaker when you drop below a threshold marked on the slider

Note: This app replaces your normal media volume dialog. To get it to show, just change volume while in media context (playing music/video) like normal.

Free version:

Full version:

https://market.andro...volume.unlocker includes more colours, dialog styles, adjustable dial sensitivity, size, toggle button pulse and removal of ads.

I own a Blade and tested this on the 2.2 Swedish Spring rom and stock 2.2/2.3 so let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Oo - I like the sound of this

Am using wbaw's fabby MCSF rom with enhanced audio which goes super loud & clear but doesn't go too quiet

Will give it a pop and report back

EDIT

ooh!

It works! That's very clever! Hats of to richardop :)

I didn't quite get it at first, but as he's explained, you need to be in the music context before it will activate (so you can't set volume to be low then start up a sound event or piece of music)

Will spread the word! :)

Note: To get the dial up, you need to be in media volume context (so playing music or video) and adjust your volume by pressing your hardware buttons.

Glad we got it sorted! I'm coding up an update right now from the latest feedback which will simplify the options, make it easier to understand how it works and easier to demonstrate the dialog from within the app, along with fixing some compatability issues.
