Shutting down problem

Hello.

I have encountered a problem with my san fran (blade).

I charge the phone for hours until the green light comes on and I turn the phone on still plugged in. The phone boots and shows a full battery, however, after about 30 seconds the phone then shuts down and restarts.

If I instantly try to turn the phone on again it comes on but shows the battery as completely empty, after about 30 seconds it restarts again.

I have tried to charging it fully and removing the charger and turning it on but the same problem happens. If, after, it initially restarts I try to turn it back on without the charger, the phone wont turn on at all.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
