Guest Xytek187 Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Hey all, I'm just wondering, since I do not plan on using a custom ROM, should I still do a nandroid backup, if I'm going to remove all the bloatware which came with the phone from my provider(Rogers), or will all this stuff be recoverable using the official acer released Froyo 2.2 update?, I'm just asking this because I didn't use the update script that was listed on here for rogers, as I only needed malez installed to root the device, (rogers/froyo somehow removes malez upon reboot). That is all.. I'm not quite sure how to explain. Example stuff I would like to remove... Acer Registration Rogers Navigator urFooz junk like that which I have no option to remove from the applications menu, though I'm sure there's all kinds of other nifty stuff you can do with root, this is basically my main priority untill I find out some other nifty stuff! thanks!
