Have installed it, and its okie, you do defo need wifi. 3G data just won't cut it.

It shows the date/size of updated apps.

There's a pin number protection on it to prevent anyone "accidentally" buying something if that said person managed to grab the blade.

Other than that - it justs works. :D

That's a good addition! I was always amazed that you could just buy apps without a password or something.

Its definitely better but it still thinks the blade is incompatible with some apps like facebook, skype, etc so will probably revert back to the old market until this problem gets fixed

There's a heck of a lot of good paid apps (especially games - most of the good ones cost). I've actually spent more on apps than the phone cost me!

Anyway, the point of the passcode is to stop other people buying apps on your phone using and charged to your google account. It's irrelevant whether you personally do or don't...

Humm don't install here

Darling, I had the default market app that came with CM7, it worked fine...

Sounds like you need to uninstall the more recent market app v3 (the prior version to this one) and install it? ;)

Didn't install here either, I'm on the first OMC-port. Deinstalled the old market, than it installed as a user-app, but was not really useable ;)

Pushing to /system/app in the recovery worked for me.

Hasn't the official app came out yet?

I received the update 2 days ago, without installing the apk.

Really?

What ROM are you using?

How? Have used nightly 171 and it was on the old market app, had to install it from my first posting.

Are you using different keys/build identifier for that to happen?

Interesting that some are experiencing problems!

Just came across this on reddit's android sub-forum, thought I'd post it here for benefit of others if Phoenix_Silver's method does not work for you.
