Guest shad0wboss Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Color Temp? What you talking about? Your question does not make any sense! i haven't installed CM7 for ages so i can't tell you the exact word that is in CM7 settings but it changes your LCD color temperature to warm and other colors. Incase you're unfamiliar with color temperature http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature

Guest The Soup Thief Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) No - he's talking about the temperature of his colours Y'know? Blue being about 2 degrees celcius rising through a nice refreshing green (between 4.8 and 5.1 would be my preference on a warm friday afternoon like this) all the way up to a raging red at 24 degrees I heard our old friend Gremlinman was working on a ROM that would make sounds smell a bit stronger, while making wet things slightly less steep EDIT: apologies - the original question made no sense whatsoever to me, hence the above giberish Edited August 28, 2011 by The Soup Thief

Guest dragsy Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) I think he's talking about the render effect settings under CM settings>Interface. I don't know about any third party apps or anything that can help the TC, but at least now you know he's on about something real and can help him out rather than mocking him. Guest Pelemane Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) You can adjust your screens rgb with this app. Not sure if it works with Blade but it works with U8800. Just download that CM6 version (if you're using CM7, if not then I don't know which version to use) and push it to system/app and reboot. In the app select USER 1 and set those values how you like and select "save custom". Then it should work even after reboot. This app is like that Render Effect thing in CM, but with this you can adjust your own values. With that render effect thing you can only choose from those preset values. This isn't exactly color temperature changing app, 'cause you can't just choose kelvins but I think this will help you getting rid of that blue tint. I'd love to see an app that can adjust color temperature just by changing kelvins with slider. That would be awesome. Edited August 26, 2011 by Pelemane

Guest WAWA72 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 In April this Year i has an App with the Name: calibration settings You will it not found in official Market, But in other markets... With this App you can calibrate your Display incl. Colours. Standart for Blade; Red 975 Green 937 Blue 824
Guest targetbsp Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 As I understand it, it's whether your white is blue-ish or yellow-ish. I'm not quite sure why white-ish is never an option though...
Guest shad0wboss Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 thanks for finding out the real name of the setting "Render effect" that's what i wanted to know if it was anyhow possible in other gingerbread roms but it seems impossible unless the real setting is pulled from CM7 and then pushed into other gingerbread roms? Any mini tut on that?
Guest FelixL Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 How about doing a nandroid and trying the AOSP version from the link above? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745248
Guest richardw1992 Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 Just to get to the point a bit; CM7 does still support variable colour temperatures, however they are preset, you can't choose your own! The ones of interest to you are called "Calibrated (N1)" , "Calibrated (N1) Low Red" and "Calibrated (N1) Cool"
