Wifi (or Router) problem

When I use Wifi from my Pirelli DRG A125G router (got it for free from my ISP) WiFI sort of disconnects for no reason. For example in a middle of downloading or while browsing the internet. It reconnects just fine. Wifi is not secured and It's hidden. And my laptop does drop WiFi connection too, but it's pretty far away from the router and I think it's normal. My ROM is CM7 N169+. What should I do?
