Hello friends. ZTE officially released the upgrade to version 2.2 of zte racer (X850). The update is available via the online updater terminal only to users of operator TIM. Who is the live operator, the software informs that there is no update.

The staff was able to back up while downloading the update terminal.

It is possible to place these files on another carrier X850 alive? How?

It is possible. U need to CAREFULLY read this about save/restore NVRAM(methods for racer and blade are identical)

And this

to know how to put FW in your phone.

First you must save nvram, then download new fw to your phone and finally, restore nvram settings to phone back. But do not do anything until you absolutely understand how to perform each step.

IMO, it's gen2 but this must be confirmed. Somebody who has flashed this to their phone can check which CWM(gen1 or gen2) will work. If it is gen2 there can be another key sequence to enter recovery- CALL+VOL-UP+PWRBTN.

it is gen 2 phone,but i think is more faster and audio is clean and more louder,i have rooted the phone but still searching for CWM recovery

yes but there is a way to re-flash back to gen1 if nessessary by backing up certain files, as for updating a gen2 to gen2 rom it should`nt be a problem should it? if you have CWM installed...

not sure if would be a problem, can't see why one would want to flash back 2.2, official update or not. but that's just me, if a time came that I had to go to gen 2,because of lack of support for gen 1 roms, yes could see it as beneficial as a gate way to flashing better roms, but my understanding was that it wouldn't allow that. cwm being denied access to.

i have install 4 pda 2.2.2 black update 14.08.2011 again

it has flash,new app

brazilian rom is not bad at all

i have rooted with visionary r 14.apk without problem,i have install CWM from 4pda ,cause it worked on brazilian 2.2.2,but flash doesnt work at all with brazilian 2.2.2

that's why i have returned to 4pda rom 2.2.2 black...

i think is the best 2.2.2 rom so far:D

if someone don't know how to play with usdl software better don't try

i have succsesfully flashed first MTS 2.2.2 official,then brazilian 2.2.2 official

both are wonderfull,but the last one updated custom rom based on the official mts 2.2.2 is the best for me

your right, total trans is not for someone who dosnt know usdl, so I'll keep with cwm flashing. lol
