Screen lock problem

Hi - My son's Vega has a screen lock (the one where you swipe a pattern). His sister tried to get into it by trying loads of combinations and now it's asking for a username/password combination which he's forgotten.

How do I reset it?

The username and password it asks for is his Google account details normally gmail acct, so if he can remember this your sorted otherwise I have to say the only thing I can of is to nvflash modded stock rom and start again
