Touch screen half dead

I managed to somehow fall asleep on my pulse and now half of the screen does not respond to touch input while the other half occasionally works does not register light touches or requires a heavier press for a response, tried the hard reset and still nothing, if any on knows a way to fix this i would greatly appreciate the help or i just might have to give up on the good old pulse.
