Guest Braindamage19 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 So I've rooted my Droid for the first time. Went well, Flashed a ROM and wanted to try some others. Found ROM Manager and tried to flash clockworkmod recovery right away but the process failed. I end up buying the license but it doesn't fix the problem. I try unrooting and re rooting, but no fix and I can't flash any other ROM that I download. I find the official ROM, flash that but now i can't start in Malez recovery, just the stock android recovery. A cpl of factory resets and wipes later, ive tried installing malez again and it says it works fine but the phone still only starts up in stock recovery and i am unable to root my device again. I've reupdated to 2.2 Froyo with no problem. Any suggestions??? Really wanting to take advantage of rooted benefits.
Guest siggey Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 What kind of phone do you have? Try oneclicksuperroot or something similar from market.

Guest siggey Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) Ive got acer liquid e. Tried oneclicksuperroot and also universal androot with no success Is it a roger phone? If yes, there is a different step by step procedure here on the forum. If not, try read the ultimate liquid thread by dario93 and the official malez recovery topic, there you can find some help. Anotherr way is to install a custom rom, already rooted, like liquidnext or miui.. Edited August 28, 2011 by siggey
