Guest john.smith Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 It sounds really weird, but last night I wanted to swap SIM so turn off the machine with power button and choose "Power Off". I can't remember if it was properly turned off, but I thought it didn't matter? Then almost immediately I took out the battery and then the SIM card. Put the new SIM in, then the battery. turned on, but no response. I got freaked out after that, try switching on and off, recharging the battery and the LED was not on either. I tested the battery and appears to be working (in another machine). So.... what have I done wrong? am I missing something? and most importantly, what should I do to get my X5 back? :(

I have no idea if it will work, but maybe you can try to get your phone into Bootloader-mode. Press and hold Vol+, Vol- and the power button simultaneously
