Adding/Deleting sim card contacts SS rls5

Hi guys. bought myself the san francisco about an hour ago. loaded swedish spring on it and most things seem ok. A few problems i noticed is when trying to add a contact to the sim card i get an error, same if i try to export to the sim and again the same for deleting a contact off my sim (there is room on my sim for more contacts) . when i turn off the phone and then switch it back on the contact i have added or deleted has then worked. is there any reason i would be getting the error saying it hasnt worked when really it has (if rebooting phone) also when on a call the screen will go off and then on a few times quite randomly.

Go into settings/Accounts and add your google account there and then.

Your handset is linked and what will happen is twofold - all your contacts will get synced to the google server and you can then safely remove them off the sim card otherwise you will have it duplicated in both places! Handy to have if you need to reflash and say "Oh no... have to put in the contacts again" when no need to as the next time you link the handset, the account will sync the contacts with minimal fuss :)

already done that but having checked gmail.com/contacts none of my contacts have saved to my google accoun. i have checked my settings and all are set to sync. i have manually synced and still no luck.

Deleted swedish spring and went with japanese jellyfish and works like a dream, all problems i had with syncing, sim card contacts and alarm only vibrating with no sound have disappeared plus battery life has seemed to improve.
