I used Swedish Spring which I liked. I also hear good things about FLB ROM's.

i bought my san francisco yesterday and loaded swedish spring. had problems with alarm only vibrating no tone even when vibrating not selected. could not delete or add contacts to my sim card and setup my gmail account o sync yet would not sync despite hanset saying it was, so after those problems i loaded japanese jellyfish this morning and i have none of those issues anymore and battery life is improved. at the end of the day it is down to your personal preference and the issues i had doesnt mean you will get them as a lot of people recommend swedish spring.

That is a unusual thing to see here admittedly - JJ ROMs are not so much used as of now - its more of Gingerbread ROMs - CM and GSF that is the popular ones doing the rounds...

But when I was using Froyo - I was a faithful follower of SS so much so that it was deemed the best froyo ROM.

This type of posting has been posted numerous times -

So yes - one person's treasure is another person's trash - really it boils down to own personal preference and not get swayed by other's personal bias. :)

But for the sake of this forum - this kind of thread is getting a bit long in the tooth... :)

If you want stay on a Fro Yo ROM i would definitely go with with: Swedish Spring rls5, and i recommend to install also the Swedish Spring softbank kernel (it will solve a lot of problems, google it).

Anyway since you're gonna root the phone i suggest you to choose a Gingerbread ROM, IMHO GSF (ginger stir fry) is the best one, I had the best experience with it, and i'm currently running it, whereas i had a lot of troubles with CM7. But it depends, for many people CM7 worked great and flawless.

However it is your choiche mine are just opinions :) enjoy you Blade

Root and get GSF.Ginger Stir Fry is perhaps the best ROM till date. Its light, quick and you can run it for days without needing to reboot. Beware about the Gen 1/Gen 2 issue.

Before I had japanese jellyfish which is a good rom too after that I got CM7 which has loads of bits and bobs but wasn't quick enough.

Then it had trouble with screen lock which went off for no reason at all. GSF is faster and more stable than CM7 perhaps because

CM7 does not have hardware acceleration.
