HTC Legend cannot connect to 3g

Hi everyone,

I bought an HTC Legend in Canada and now i have moved to Denmark. My danish plan (with OiSTER) uses a 3g-network, and i have not been able to use this with my Legend. After talking to different experts and custumor services i found out that it is probably because an HTC Legend bought in North America does not support the kind of network my operator uses.

A friend of mine suggested that it might just be the software/firmware, and that it might be possible to change that to european standards so that the phone will be compatible with the danish 3g network.

Im a novice in this so i hope someone in hear can help me out.
