After getting my last issue sorted with a replacement phone this one has run like a charm, however it was building up dust between the TFT and the digitizer. being the moron I am I decided to take the phone apart following a guide on the internet and cleaned all the dust out using a microfibre cloth. after putting the phone back together ( 10 times now! ) the touchscreen is unresponsive. I have checked the flat connection on the top and it is secure, also there is a little white wire with 3 contact points down the side and they all make good contact, on the other side there is 2 more of these contacts but no wire and they dont seem to make contact with anything???.

I'm at a loss now and can't seem to remedy the problem

does anyone have any insight into my issue or have I completely stuffed it up ?

many thanks :)

I have just done exactly the same thing as you, went to remove the dust and in the process managed to kill the touchscreen, it's totally unresponsive :( checked that the digitizer cable is secure.

Did you find a solution to this? or just buy a new phone? would a new digitizer fix the problem?

Thanks
