Guest xdjneo Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 Is it possible to change the WiFi Screen off Timeout settings from 15 minutes to say 5 minutes. For my usage this will definitely save me some juice on the battery. I tried searching and came across this but this is for Samsung Galaxy. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=774507 I did manage to find the settings.db in data/data/com.android.provider.settings/databases but after copying this when I try to open it in the sqlite database explorer I dont see anything Any suggestions would be really helpful

This was on the ZTE Blade but I reckon the steps don't differ much, if at all.

I used root explorer to copy it to my SD, then i copied it to my computer from there and used http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/ to open the settings.db file but got no error and didnt see anything in the sqlite browser. What program did you use to edit the .db file?
