Can people please share their experience with battery life and the governor used on GSF 22 and beyond, or any ROM based on the new leaked Skate kernel.

CPU Spy and other tools may help here.

Feedback on pre-beta 22 GSF (leaked Chinese ROM basically) will most likely be equally valid.

Powersave is best for battery but it's unusable, 'cause it keeps frequency on lowest all the time. Just use SmartAss/SmartAssV2 'cause those are best.

Powersave is not in the poll for that very reason. It is practically unusable. I'd LIKE to like smartassV2 but watching it in CPU Spy leads me to believe it simply spreads out the load across all CPU frequencies, but in essence the top and bottom 2 frequencies still get the most hits, even when sitting idle, giving me average results similar to ondemand.

This looks interesting (InteractiveX). It seems to be hitting 122 mhz 97% of the time for me here (screen off), and is VERY responsive. Only conservative gave me similar results, ofcourse with lag. With the screen on, it seems to be making use of all the CPU steps.

ondemand for me gave me approx 66% 122mhz, 33% 600mhz, sitting idle (plugged in to mains so as to not sleep). It seems ondemand hops from min to max frequency, ignoring the inbetween frequencies.

More testing is needed, so if people could help out in figuring out the best governor using tools like CPU Spy, that would help the entire community. :)

Please motivate your findings with measurable data, as opinions can be subjective.

Please note the interactive governor in question is interactiveX. Not one and the same as interactive.
