Headset Controls not working

Hi

My original Headset earphones broke the other day.

The new ones i bought Blackberry Stereo Handsfree Headset 8700 8100 8800 are not working properly.

1. The MIC Button doesnt work as "Play/Pause" or "Answer" Button.....
2. Only if you keep the MIC Button pressed, you hear the sound correctly, other it comes like "Sound Reduction"

Same thing happens if i plug other headphones like iPhone ones.

Any ideas ?
