Dialler data usage

I received a text message from three today telling me my data allowance was nearly used up, a few weeks back I installed "My Data Manager". Checking the stats in this app and it's showing dialler used 327.8MB or 35.2% of my internet allowance.

Why is dialler using this much data, anyone got idea?

What ROM are you using?

That sounds suspicious as to the dialler making a lot of data usage.....

Is there a hidden malware in there due to some app that was installed or something?

I think, you should try installing droidwall by rodgriguez (there's 2 versions... the older one and rodriguez), apply logging on it and check what is the log saying about the network data packets being sent out.... :)
