Wifi Stops working?

Hi guys, this is my first post here. First of all i must say that the information that that i found on modaco's sites about the ZTE blade and adding custom roms was invaluable!

now to the issue

I have two ZTE blades one that my wife uses and my own. They are currently running CM7 Nightly 175 + wifi_fix.

a couple of times now, the phones have gone into a state that the wifi appears 'connected' but the icon (and the little bars) show as white and no traffic comes through. trying to disable wifi in the interface (or using a widget), wifi does 'disconnect' becuause 3g or hsdpa comes on and traffic starts to flow but the wifi remains in a state of endless 'Turning off' and there is no way to turn it back on.

All i've been able to do so far is to reboot the phone.

I'm using advanced wifi lock to keep wifi on (especially for my wifi since she's at home most of the time) but it seems that after an extended period of time, the wifi locks (happened 2 times in 1 week now).

any ideas are much appreciates

(phones are not overclocked)

Mine does that sometimes although doesnt get stuck turning it off.. It appears to just be a quirk of the Blade, although it never used to happen with the Modaco ROM and only happens on CM7..

I usually just toggle the state and it sorts it out.

thanks. what do you mean you toggle the state and it sort it out? does it sort it out without a reboot?
