handcent sms keyboard?

Does anyone know how i can set it so that the keyboard on handcent sms will always stay onscreen when I am texting, i dont want to keep pressing the text box to bring up the keyboard after each message .

I have already ticked the box in in 'settings' - 'automatically show on screen keyboard' but it still doesnt work :(

also does anyone know the keyboard in this picture?
