It's asking me too put in my gmail username and password too unlock but when i do so the samw screen comes back. wifi is of, does anyone know a way of bypassing this orsomething so i dont have to master reset as i would lose a lot of personal data, (photos, numbers, etc). all help will be greatly appreciated. willing to trade child concerned for results
Guest flshg Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 (edited) It seems the phone needs a data/wifi connection to authenticate your gmail account. I've read somewhere that your phone can still receive calls, and theres a split-second window when the phone starts to ring when you can press a button e.g. menu to bring up settings, enable wifi/data. This could then allow you to authenticate the phone with google to unlock. Even if it doesnt work, your contacts should be backed up with google, so you can access them on a pc. Photos will be on your sdcard which you can access with a sdcard reader on a pc. Edited September 10, 2011 by flshg
