Hi ,

I dont know what I'm doing wrong but , I installed the GR1 update rom , my 3G works for calls but no data? I used getril to install the correct base band and still no luck, Is there anyone who lives in canada and has the same problem? everything else about this rom is pretty cool, I tried some other GB roms from XDA and they all do the same thing wifi works but no 3G data and I also have a small " r " right on top of my signal bars , but my data roaiming isnt selectd?? Any suggestions will be great!! :)

I just got it to work by selecting both data and roaming data enabeld , wierd? why do you think that happens, If I unselect roaming data , I have no internet or data d/l ? base band and RIL are GB 622 .

Check your APN list. When I installed Gr2 it defaulted to the wrong APN initially and I had to pick the correct one for my carrier. I am with O2, but it had defaulted to GiffGaff.

I Checked the apn and its on Fido by default, I am wondering why my cell has the r on top of the signal bars, I guess its for roaming , but why is my cell phone roaming for?:unsure:

ok so after a lot of reading and testing out the different roms out there I confirmed that when ever i use a rom that is GB 2.3.x , wether its miui or CyanogenMod they all have the same result...my cell geos to roaming and I have to have data roaming enabled when I want to use it for data, Its very strange because the only roms that work so far without that problem is FR19 and fearkill...I geuss I just have to wait for the actuall LG update of GB...
