The most Light and Smooth Rom?

Well now that i have try almost every GB rom available i can have my own opinion about the roms.

I will try to be accurate in my review. If you have a different opinion post it.

Before posting the review i have to say that CM7 is a 32Bit Based rom thats why is not smooth at all.

So for now the most smooth and fast roms to choose from are:

Cae 1.2

Description: Stock GingerBread rom

Battery Life: OK

Benefits: NO

Disadvantages: NO

Blademix 2.3

Description: Customized Rom with many system themes and nokia meego icons.

Battery Life: OK

Benefits: Google+ app. Power Notification widget.

Disadvantages: NO

Elitemovil (rc10)

Description: Customized Rom.

Battery Life: Drains Fast

Benefits:710 MHz doesn't crash kernel. Power Notification widget.

Disadvantages: Market is buged.

3 roms? and which is the most smooth?

I tested all the roms with laucher pro.

All of the 3 roms runs smooth and fast its almost the same.

Only difference i saw was in cae 1.2, the settings menu was scrolling smoother.

And at Blademix 2.3 it seems that the main screen it scrolls smoother when you load widgets.

At cae and elitemovil with the same widget loaded in the screen i could see some lag in blamix 2.3 no lag at all.

And how about other roms not listed have you tried them?

yes, i have test the following roms which wasn't so smooth:

GSF b25-b26

CM7

Blue ginger broken download link.

Well... CM latest Build (222-2.3.7) i can see it runs very smooth!

And i have a vision... that Official 2.3.5 for Libra when its going to be moded and tuned up its going to be the best rom available!

i tried the official image.bin (2.3.5 for libra) and its working nice on my blade smooth and nice.

No reason any more to test 2.3.4 roms

I want to know which is the most smoothness and light rom you have ever tried or used?

in my experience the most light and smooth rom is the Complete Android experience 1.1 (new)

Only 2.3 and above versions.

The cyanogenmod are good roms but not so smooth and light.

I just installed the 1.2 cae and I think is just a little bit faster from the 1.1.

I will give a try on your blademix tomorrow

I also tried the b23, it was fast and good rom but the cae is faster so for now i stick with sami!

Cm7 is best for gaming. All the other 2.3 roms however are better and equally good at general menu scrolling.

imo Blade mix or CAE are the best roms at the moment.

I'm going for blade mix , but I like CAE too :D

I think I've tried every rom avaiable , and not 1 rom has stayed more then 2 days on my phone EVER ... but now I've ended up with Blade Mix and CAE ,and will not test any other rom anymore.

Both are smooth , fast , nice looking and have a good battery life.

And Blade Mix is the ONLY rom I don't want to make myself a theme ... it'doesn't look like ALL other roms , and I like it :P

I didn't try the blade mix because is gsf based and the latest (b23) i tried was not so smooth.

I think a big benefit of blade mix is the google+.

so what do you think about blade mix vs cae about smooth and speed?

So if you want a stock like rom choose cae.

If you want a modified theme choose blademix.

Well, its really hard to say that blademix is better or cae is better but i will try, its like a tie!

This topic its only about smooth and speed so we forget gsf and cm7 and all the other roms!

Speed:

The Blademix its obviously faster and more responsive than Cae but in a small number of 5%.

Smooth, CPU 604MHz:

Cae wins here the rom is smoother than blademix especially on contacts scroll and settings.

Smooth, CPU 691 MHz:

Blademix here is scrolling smoother than Cae only in screen scrolling and the menu scrolling.

Cae scrolling smoother again in contacts and settings but with small difference.

691MHz its the higher overclock frequency which is stable and recommended for every day use.

Rom versions i tested was:

Blademix 2.2

Cae 1.2
