My unlock code changed itself

I was loving this phone but its decided that randomly it wants to change my unlock code for me (screen unlock that is). I'm running pauls FR19 rom and there doesn't seem to be any sign of the usual recovery option using gmail.

Shy of a hard reset or restoring to my last backup does anyone have any ideas of how I can get around this problem?

I dunno if the loophole has been closed, but back in the day you could get round the unlock screen by pressing home during a call.

never mind, i'm just going to reflash, i only did it yesterday so wont lose hardly anything except a little bit of time.
