Hi All,

Hi I'm Troy McClure, you may remember me in such things as..... ;) {sorry, couldnt help resist Simpsons quote}

Anyway, you may remember me from other threads, I'm the poor unlucky soul to be on his 3rd Blade phone in less than a year, and most likely to be on my forth.... :(

I have a really odd problem, and I am not sure if its hardware related or what?? I've not experienced this on any of the other Blades I had, and wonder if because mine is ReFurbished as thats the reason it ended up in the ReFurb pile...???

Basically, when I play sound (streaming) over the Internet on the phone, sound is fine.... When I download audio from the internet (such as ringtones) its fine for the few plays.... however, later on I go back to that sound file to play again, and it starts jumping, skipping, and sounding distorted, like a sort of stuttering / clipping...??

What do you think this would indicate?? Its a brand new SD Card, of 16Gb, and it did it on the other brand new SD Card of 8Gb, and I am sure on the 2Gb that came with it.....

But this has only happened since I had the refurb, and not only that, the refurb had scratches on the buttons, paint pealing off... :( Do you think this is why it may of ended up in that pile?? Whats likely at fault...??

I am not happy that I paid for a brand new one, and when the original fault was with the phone manufacturing defect, I end up with a 2nd hand replacement?? Its like me buying a brand new car, take it off the drive and suddenly a wheel falls off, take it back and they say hey we'll fix that for you and exchange it for a second hand car off the forcourt!!! :(

Please help me???

ps, I have reflashed it a couple of times before, and it has done it on various builds of CM7. I am gonna back it up, and replace with Stock Orange and run that for a while and see if it does the same....

Cheers, Lister

Hi Guys,

Any thoughts??? Does this sound like a hardware, is it a common fault?? (not seen anything in the forums before about it?)

What could be causing this kinda of issue...??

Thanks, Lister

Hi WATA72,

Thanks very much for the offer, but as its still in warranty, will no doubt take it back to them and either swap it AGAIN or most likely end up selling the Blade and getting a different Android as it seems extremely and highly unreliable build quality :(

Unless anyone else knows if this is a known fault or shear unlucky??

Many thanks, Lister
