How to backup rom before rooting ?

Hi,

inside the topic: [ROM] ZTE Blade Stock ROMs, I don't see a stock ROM from my country.

I'd like to backup it before I root my (warranty replaced) Blade, however I'm not sure how to do backup before I root it.

Use Romdump

First root with z4root and then install ROM Manager and Flash Clockworkmod recovery.

Then take a backup of your rom.

If u want to unroot it simply use z4root to unroot it again. ;)

Best way :

get into fastboot (adb reboot bootloader might work or the hold vol - key combo or another way).

fastboot boot clockworkmod-working-properly.img

backup from there (untouched).

If you must use the exploit (rageagainsthecage) use it manually . (/data is executable).
