noob guide to zte blade

hi there im just new here and was looking to upgrade my zte blade to gingerbread.

i know A little bit about it from reading through the forums. i also had an x10 which i rooted but my kid lost it and

i had to buy a cheaper replacement, it seems apart from the camera this phone may be better since its possible to update

to gingerbread which i couldnt do with my x10.

from reading in different forums it seemed the two main choices of custom roms i had were cyanogen or the modaco rom.

from what ive been reading so far it seems like the modaco rom is the better one to go for with more support and guidance.

is there a complete guide to doing this from rooting throught to installing ginger stir fry ??

if so can someone post a link, ive found some part guides but i dont think ive seen a full guide if there is one.

i get my new phone tomorrow so i want to clue myself up on what to do so i can get it updated and debranded from orange asap.
