Brightness Feature

This may be a feature people know about, but it's new to me so I thought I would share.

If you press and hold on the notification bar and then slide your finger from side to side you can change the brightness level on the phone.

Just a note to say that this only works with auto-brightness turned off.

Paul/Anyone, do you know if there is a way to set the browser brightness to always be the same as the phone?

Problem I have is that my phone is set to as near as zero on both phone and browser, then when outside slide along the top to increase it to full. If you do it in the browser it goes bright, until it times out at which point the phones brightness setting is full, but the browser is back down to low, and I have to struggle to find the setting on the screen to increase the brightness.

hiya thanks, assuming this is on cm7? could never get that to work, but after reading your post it now makes sense and now got it to work as stated, :)

I would also like browser brightness to be same as phone brightness always
