hi all.

tried to flash latest GSF over my old GSF....using rom manager first - when it rebooted it just goes to green android and just stays there.

i pulled the battery eventually - tried to start clockwork mod manually. hold the volume down button while booting - still nothing...

so i TPT'd it - cyanogen mod worked ok following the TPT.

so i tried clockwork again to put on the new GSF....yet again - i cant seem to get the recovery mode up.

stuck!

you use tpt for gen1 to gen2 ?

there are a lot o rom ,try another one and then try again with gsf

yes i used gen 1 to gen 2 tpt....that works fine.

i cant really try any other roms as i cant get clockwork mod to appear - i power on while holding volume down...nothing - it just stays on the green android screen.

do i need to put clockwork mod on again?

ok easy...

1.download this tpt http://www.multiupload.com/PVHMNI5TUL

2. take out your sd ,put it in your pc ,

3.copy your images,sounds etc to pc and delete the sd,all files folders ect

4. extract the zip into the sd (now you have a file called "image"with some files inside)

put a custom rom(gsf, or cae or cm7 or blademix or any other rom in .ziip format) into the sd

5.put back the sd into the phone

6.press + button and power(you ll see some green letters)

when its done you ll see the recovery mod

7. "install zip from sd" and choose any rom you want

if you choose gsf and nothing heppends try another rom firs and then tha gsf again

thanks - ive gave this a shot and we're all sorted now. my sd card almost full and has nearly a year worth of old crap on it.
