Guest ZTR Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) I just wanted to ask which Video Player is best for Blade? As in overall in performance and codec support? Is it Mobo Player? Or is it MX VideoPlayer? Thanks. Edited September 16, 2011 by ZTR
Guest hedgepigdaniel Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 The best way is to only play videos that the built in video player will play. I recommend an mp4 file with h.264 baseline profile video and AAC audio. That way you will always use hardware decoding, meaning better performance, better reliability, and longer battery life.

Guest Monfro Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Rockplayer plays everything: it is my favourite. Also QQplayer plays everything. Mobo is also used a lot.
Guest shanky887614 Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 (edited) ive tried both and seamans player and rock player and most other on the market i keep going back yo moboplayer it can play most files most other players cant, e.g ive run .mkv, .rm and rmvb it is built using ffmpeg and they also do an arm v6 codec pack it works perfectly and no slow downs at all, running at stock speed (use an app killer if your blade is running slow) Edited September 20, 2011 by shanky887614
Guest drobson67 Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Hi, Ive tried a few but prefer rockplayer, if it wont play a video then long click on the file and play using software decoding mode, this usually works, if not then convert the file to a format the phone will support, I use avs video converter which has a nice option where you can select video for android, "mp4, h.264, 480x320, 30fps" the option is automatic and the quality is good.
Guest Kamikaze. Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 As a video player, I prefer mVideoplayer. But if you need codec support, then Mobo.
