Hi erickas.

Here on modaco i've found thistutorial.

Could it be helpful in creating WIFI drivers for our B7610?

I hope that this tutorial could help because in my opinion wifi on android is a MUST HAVE thing, cause android uses a lot internet (great example are market, sync contact with gmail, lot of applications etc)

Yes, I know it, and it helped me to make the module loadable.

I know how to load the driver module, problem is loading the firmware. It is described here but it is for OMAP processor and not for S3C6410.

After I fixed sensors fully (including compass) I will continue on wifi / BT, but it can take a long time.

Thanx for thinking with me, keep it up please! :)

hi, light sensor on b7610 is working or not? Or is this just a problem b7620, auto brightness adjustment does not work for me and during a call the screen automatically not  locks and unlocks when you close your ears a light sensor.

Thanx & no problem. Hope you enjoy the android :)

I would like to contribute this community by the following means...

$10 for full working Froyo

$20 for full working Gingerbread

$30 for full ICS.

+

$5 for Nand ROM...

:D

I request all the Android users to help either by donating or developing... up to you...B)

I'm donating because each and every time we people are demanding for bug fix/features to devs but we are doing nothing to support...

well the beta3 is very good.

it would be better if the camer work, the wifi work, and the keyboard light turn off.

if these tree issues are fixed, i think i will use android 24 hours a day.

Camera works. Do you have problems with it?

Keyboard light is still no problem because it still is led and therefore does still not exhaust the battery. It still is off when your screen is off.

I will try to fix it some day, but has the lowest priority of all.

Wifi will work someday, if we have the firmware loaded. Trust me, I look into it every day.

I have successfully installed asphalt 5 ver 3.0.1 but accerlometer control worse.

Besides, overall speed is quite low (phone,sms,...), is it hardware limit or bug?

Speed low?

Do you mean that for example when you open the sms application it takes time?

Or that the "scrolling" of pages is slow?

In my opinion, from the moment that android is installed on an external SD, the response is quite fast..

I reworked accelerometer. Will send some die hard forummembers pm to test later today or tomorrow. I am curious what the findings are

Is it a problem caused by your camera? It worked for me in all beta's.

Strange. Cam seems occasionally not to be working. It is also reported on I8000 I remember.

See issue 168 on google projectpage, provide as much info as you can.

Seems to me from logcat that is there, there goes something wrong with preview
