Hi Erik,

I finally managed to get Android running from Internal storage and the updates are applied this way, the tip about renaming the files didn't work. But and the best part is it's not on the SD-card anymore.

Thanks for the help and explanation so far.

Till next time ;)

Erikcas,

Just wanna say B7610 users like myself appreciate all the hard work you have exerted on this.

My basic problem with winmo is the messaging part, SMS is very slow.

I really don't know if I can apply these on my B7610 because I don't know linux and other stuff,

but I guess I can just find someone who knows how to do it when you finally finish the project.

Thank you very much! to you and all the members of this wonderful project!

Hi

I don't know why but after I delete the files and folders you told me my mobile it working a lot better. The battery doesn't drain so fast and now I can charge the battery until 100%. Before it was until 98% and never said battery full.

Thanks

Really? great to hear that then.. you know any thread where there probably is a step-by-step procedure?

I know how to install applications on my B7610, but I'm not sure it's gonna be the same in changing the

phone's operating system from Winmo to Android.

Thanks for pointing that out though..

Magnuz you can try to follow my step to step tutorial

1) Download kernel, installer and startup file

2) Connect phone to pc

3) Copy the unzipped conten of the autoinstaller on the root of my storage

4) Disconnect phone from PC

5) Open o2beta folder and run androidinstaller.exe

6) Wait till the end of the black screen with "falling"text

7) The device will reboot in more or less 30 second

8) Connect phone to PC

9) Copy the file "startup.txt" on the root of my storage

10) Run "haret.exe" from the root of my storage

11) Again wait till the end of the black screen with "falling" text

12) Android will boot (it takes lot of time at the first time)

13) Once in android, don't do anything, just reboot

14) Connect phone to PC

15) Copy the unzipped content of "kernel rev 75..." on the root of my storage, overwriting if necessary

16) Run again "haret.exe" from the root of my storage

17) Android will boot

18) I suggest to reboot again once or two time just to be sure

Another thing with the B7610

When receiving calls, receiving calls operation is quite slow

I do not like drag

way transfer of touch-screen operation call. Or use the hardware keyboard (like on WinMo)
