Smaller scale steps in changing volume

Hi,

I've recently bought an zte blade and I noticed that when changing the volume of the media, there are only 15 steps to increase/decrease. I find this very annoying since even the smallest volume is too loud for my taste using headphones. Besides this, it also changes the volume with big steps, so if you find it too quiet and increase it, it suddenly is too loud and vice versa. I'd like to have an app which increases the steps in changing the volume (fi 30 steps).

Does anyone have an suggestion for me since I cannot find this at the moment?

ive asked about this before and never got a useful fix.

the only time the volume steps have been good for me are when using cyanogen rom - you have much more control with that.

Agree, the scale needs to be more logarithmic, from mute to 1 step is way too loud

From what I've learned, the cyanogen rom is not really stable, is that so?

it is stable.

I've had nightly 98 running for a few weeks without a single reboot or force-close.

now I'm running nightly sej's nightly 179 with patches and it works flawlessly without any reboots and force-closes.

ran GPS for 30 minutes and it was fine.

there might be really really small bugs but that's nothing to worry about.
