Guest trevor33 Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Hi, new to this. Installed Pauls software on my SF and all went well until phone went to standby. Now only way to get it going is to remove battery and switch on again but then goes to standby again and have to start over again. Tried loads of things but still the same. Anyone help please.
Guest trevor33 Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Just an update......when I press top button to remove from standby the 'home, menu, return ' buttons light up but no display, nothing I can do to get it working except to remove battery. Help please T33
Guest flshg Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 I'm assuming this problem only started after you changed to a new rom? I don't know what process you used to change rom but if you used clockworkmod you should try doing a data wipe/factory reset. If that doesnt work you should use a newer rom like Ginger Stir Fry or CM7 nightly.

Where do I find the other roms? Regards T33
Guest flshg Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Newer roms will have newer versions of device drivers which I imagine should resolve the problems you're having. You can find Ginger Stir Fry here, and CM7 here. Bear in mind CM7 requires a conversion to 'gen2', and both might need a newer version of clockworkmod. This link will give an overview of the process and provide some links to the software. You could always try redownloading and reflashing paul's rom first if you wish just in case it was a corrupted download or bad flash.
