Current version CM7 N199-N200 kills phone network

Hi All,

Not sure how many others have found this, if at all...?? Seems a little quiet around here on the boards. But since I upgraded to N199 I now no longer have any GSM network??? I'm not the only one, as the Rom Manager comments seem to suggest many others have it too, no phone network!!!! :(

Not sure if N202 or N203 fixes this yet???

However, I cant seem to back my phone up either, ClockWorkMod seems to think it cant find my partition, SD-Ext (Ext3) ??

My phone is a Gen1 model....

Can anyone tell me what version of "Recovery Manager" "Recovery Img ver" and "Rom Manager" I should be using on a Gen1?

As I know some of the Recovery Images are now Gen2, and some dont work at all...?? At least with 3.0.1.4 (the top one, as there are two) is the only one that allows me into CWM... However, how can I backup my SD-Ext, as it says it cant find it?? Yet my Apps install fine to it, and S2E works fine???

A known problem. All of the Nightlies since they began again recently have been broken as they have missing libs. Check the CM7 thread.

Thanks for the reply, I didnt know/notice that.... cheers for letting know.. so shall stay clear of any CM7s for now....

However my phone has been dead for like 2 to 3 days now, I would re-flash it, but some reason ClockWorkMod will not backup my SD-Ext (ext3) partition, any idea's why...?? What versions of Recovery and that do I need please...??? Gen1

We're mostly using the new kernel versions rather than the nightlies. It's fantastic. Faster, always on wifi etc.

So ClockWorkMod no longer supports Ext3 then...?? :(

Maybe try AMON RA Recovery, this should work :)
