app2sd alternative for UK stock rom 2.1

Today I installed (for the first time) the official UK 2.1 rom (february 2011) for my pulse. Seeing the second camera working for the first time and the main camera itself (after using the 7.1 from cyanogenmod) has convinced me to give it a try. Of course I am missing some stuff from cyanogenmod and tom g's 6.1. Most of all the ability to run apps from the sd card.

Since app2sd works only from Android 2.2 and up I wondered if anyone knows (and tried out) any alternatives. Help is much appreciated.

Root your phone with z4root and use Link2SD.

There is a good thread in this forum that discusses exactly how to do all of that, specifically with the UK2011 rom. You should find it easily with a search (to the right).
